How to sign an agreement with a Justice that practices injustice, just to take off this anklet, when I did nothing? Don’t fall for this, don’t sign the Criminal Prosecution, they are trying to get rid of the compensation they will have to pay us one day,” he says.

Marcos also has videos and campaigns to financially help families of other inmates who are experiencing financial difficulties.

In addition, he called for prayer and protests against the Supreme Court’s vote to legalize abortion.

Moreira had been conditionally released from prison since May and was serving precautionary measures. To remain at large, the defendant had to comply with some requirements, among them, not to use social networks. Marcos is a businessman and at one point stated that with his arrest his company was abandoned and when he was released after 120 days, he had many bills to pay and employee labor issues to solve.

Moreira while imprisoned shared a cell with the third defendant sentenced by the Supreme Court to 17 years in prison Matheus Lima de Carvalho Lazaro, and in one of the videos he shows a letter he received from Matheus asking him to check how his wife is and help her if she needed it.

“This current composition of the Supreme Court that is in our country is criminal, has blood on your hands, do not make a deal with bandits to take on a crime that you did not commit. Don’t be afraid of them, they are holding us back to put fear in people and for everyone to shut up.” They are considered political prisoners in Brazil.

“I will never bow to you bandits, who have the power of the pen in your hand, but you are bandits. Alexandre de Moraes, Rosa Weber, all of you are bandits, vagabonds, I will not bow to you. They want to arrest me, they can arrest me,” he said.

After publication, the minister of the supreme court, Moraes ordered that Moreira return to prison.

“Even aware of this prohibition [of the use of social networks] and showing total contempt for justice, the accused published two videos on the social network TikTok, in which he attacks this court and utters various offenses to the honor of the ministers who are part of it.

In one of the publications, it calls for protesters to, on October 12, 2023, take to the streets ‘against this absurd agenda that this Justice is putting to be voted to release the murder and homicide of babies,'” reads an excerpt from the decision.
