“Electoral ballot boxes will be secure only with the printing of the voucher,” says hacker in the Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI), in the National Congress. In testimony to the CPMI of January 8 Walter Delgatti, known as hacker of the “Vaza Jato”, said that it is not possible to invade the electronic voting machines, if agents external to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) tried.

According to Delgatti, only someone who is part of the TSE and who has access to the source code of the urn has the possibility to move the lines of the code.

However, the hacker said he believes this possibility would be “fanciful.”

When asked by the president of the CPMI Arthur Maia (Union Party), about what improvements he could suggest to ensure 100% the security of the vote, the hacker said that the way out would be to “print the vote”.

Delgatti explained that electronic voting machines are not connected to internet networks because they are offline.
Electronic.

The matter came to light after the hacker told CPMI that former President Jair Bolsonaro asked him to prove the vulnerability of electronic voting machines.

The hacker said without having evidence to present, that Bolsonaro would still have asked him to assume the authorship of a “wiretap” on Minister Alexandre de Moraes, the Supreme Court (STF).

The hacker answered only questions from parliamentarians of the Lula government. He refused to answer any questions from opposition lawmakers and did not present any evidence. (see video)

Delgatti is convicted in court of embezzlement and has more than 44 cases, some still ongoing.

During the CPMI the hacker who made accusations without evidence against former President Jair Bolsonaro, let slip that he asked for a vote for Lula.
