The Parliamentary Front of Agriculture (FPA) reported the creation of a bloc formed by 17 other parliamentary fronts and two parties against the constant interference of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) in agendas that should be decided within the scope of the Legislative Power, and not through judicial decisions.
The group said it repudiates “the continued usurpation of jurisdiction by the Supreme Court on issues such as legalization of drugs, decriminalization of abortion, property rights and self-defense, among others.”
After highlighting the importance of the Constitutional Court, the members of the bloc stressed that they will not accept “any interference in the legislative prerogative of the National Congress” and that they will take “the appropriate measures to restore the balance between the Powers.”
“Eleven togados were not elected has no legitimacy to legislate,” says Congresswoman Carolina Detone. (see video)
“In its intensity and in its scope, to the point that the legislature, which is the bastion of democracy, the representation of the popular will, was totally diminished, just remembering the stories of successful democracies.
And the history of the parliaments Strong, of the legislature strong, of the legislature climbing more and more power, is not of the judiciary climbing more and more power; it is not of the executive climbing more and more power, it is of the parliament climbing power, this story of successful democracies, everything that reverses the strength of the executive gaining power, or now we are seeing from the judiciary comes a power, reverses the dictatorship.

It is not a demonstration, a mere obstruction, this here is the beginning of a legislative process to change the involution of our Constitution to protect the power of Congress, to limit the interference of the judiciary, this requires a cohesive, resolute initiative of the deputies and senators and also that this moment is not taken advantage of by those who love to create an impasse to then negotiate position in the executive or negotiate an honorable exit with some process; in the Supreme Court.
That is until a resolution of parliamentarians who represent the population, we are all United, I am from the parliamentary front of the free market, I joined the other fronts that emerged almost unisunas, without practically needing a necessary acclamation of all the deputies, it was a joint thing and then in this way we will walk.
the parliamentarians are now known and let’s go forward my colleagues tell that my love there are several proposals To correct all this now we have the attention and we have the courage “, said the deputy Filipe de Bragança.
